NPI Manufacturing Operations Program Manager

Client is seeking a Manufacturing Operations Program Manager to become part of our Supply Chain Transformation Program Management team.

Our data centers are the foundation upon which our rapidly growing infrastructure operates to deliver innovative services enabling our mission to build community and bring the world closer together.

The role will lead the Manufacturing Operations readiness for NPI Hardware lifecycle programs for the manufacturing & quality of Compute, Storage, Network and AI/ML Racks shipped to our Data Centers.


This role focuses on guiding Client global Sourcing & Operations Engineering teams to solve complex technical hardware process and product problems from ideation through implementation, as well as partnering with Infra wide teams/TPMs on NPI Product lifecycles and build schedules.

This requires a technical understanding of the computer manufacturing, hardware, software, firmware, testing, quality, manufacturing NPI processes, capacity engineering, via ODMs & suppliers.


Responsibilities
Lead NPI programs from Quality Operations readiness through EVT/DVT/PVT/PILOT/MP ramp to hyperscale volume.

Interface with TPMs, Engineering Design teams, Operations Engineering teams, Data Center teams, Capacity Engineering and other business owners (such as Finance, Accounting, Tax, Trade) to define projects and assess impacts across the organization and the lifecycle of the Rack/Computer/Network Hardware.

Understand/interpret technical requirements for HW Design & Manufacturing, facilitate inputs from engineers across multiple technical engineering departments to create coordinated Manufacturing Change roadmap & drive implementation with ODMs/JDMs/CMs.

Manage dependencies and handoffs effectively and optimize schedules accordingly.
Drive internal process improvements across multiple teams and functions.
Report and drive alignment and decisions from leadership across multiple organizations.
Effectively communicate manufacturing readiness content to stakeholders and partners with diverse/varied technical backgrounds.
Travel to manufacturing sites as required.


Minimum qualifications
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, component engineering, industrial engineering, supply chain management or equivalent manufacturing job experience.
Large scale manufacturing, New Product Introduction, and/or other Hardware engineering related product implementation experience.
10+ years of experience in Manufacturing Operations Program/Project Management.
Proven communication skills and demonstrated attention to detail.
Interpersonal skills, including relationship building and collaboration within diverse, cross-functional teams.


Preferred qualifications
Knowledge of design for manufacturing, testing and scalability of compute, storage, network and AI/ML systems.
Knowledge of manufacturing test processes and tools objectives and usage.
Understanding of Hardware Engineering manufacturing quality goals and Hardware lifecycle responsibilities across multiple disciplines.
Global project implementation experience.
Experience adapting and learning new skill sets quickly.


Rate/Salary:
$70/hr to $75/hr W2
