The Work You'll Do

Experienced in modern web development, the Technical Lead demonstrates full-stack skills, are excited by an opportunity to evolve technology, and passionate about mentoring and developing up-and-coming developers.

The Technical Lead role is a blend of senior-level technical skills combined with the opportunity to lead a group of developers, while contributing to product design and architecture.

More specifically, you will

Serve as a technical mentor and coach to other software engineers
Lead and elevate performance of software development teams including direct reports
Build a collaborative partnership with our Product Management team
Champion a culture of code quality and continual learning and growth throughout the department
Conduct peer code reviews to ensure quality
Define & maintain design specifications and standards as well as coach others in adopting them
Integrate technology, process, test and business practices

What We Need From You

Work experience
Experience leading or mentoring a group or team
Ability to achieve results in a fastpaced dynamic environment
Skilled in software/systems architecture
Expert in serviceoriented design principles (design patterns, REST).
Experience with Javascript frontend technologies (React, Angular JS) a plus
Experience with micro service patterns a plus
Knowledge about Microservice architectures, containers, Kubernetes, and familiarity with nonrelational databases is beneficial
