Responsabilities of Role


Human Resources Director will provide comprehensive oversight, planning and management of human resources functions, while pursuing the organization's core values and strategic commitment to attract, retain, promote and support the best and most diverse talent, who can thrive in a respectful, inclusive and equitable work culture.


Business Partnership

  • Partner with Senior Management to establish strategic talent development programs to meet organizational objectives.
  • Provide input on Human Resources solutions to business problems and strategies and contribute to measurable results on time and within budget.
  • Works closely with management to identify and suggest solutions on how to improve company, departmental and team morale.
  • Facilitate communications throughout the organization including employee engagement surveys; pulse surveys; means of sharing important information
  • Goal is to be a high performing transparent workforce.
  • Identify organizational improvement needs, determine methods to meet those needs and implement programs that are responsive to both individual and departmental needs.
  • Collaborate as key member of senior management team to develop, reinforce and maintain key organizational programs.

Recruiting/On-Boarding

  • Review financial implications of hires with management team.
  • Partner with recruitment team to develop recruitment strategy and define procedures for interviewing and hiring.
  • Communicates with department managers to clarify recruitment needs
  • Ensures adequate staffing of all positions.
  • Provides reporting to senior and regional management as requested.

Performance Management/Employee Development

  • Develop processes and systems to improve organizational capability in areas of goal alignment, performance management & accountability, leadership & career development.
  • Develop and improve programs and practices to effectively manage the organizational talent and corresponding developmental needs.
  • Work with department leads to identify required competencies to meet expectations of any given position.
  • Identify competency, knowledge, and talent gaps to develop and implement targeted programs that address these gaps.
  • Implement training programs.
  • Coordinate learning and development initiatives.

Employee Relations

  • Coaches and counsels' managers and employees to resolve employee relations issues.
  • Participate in employee investigations (if they arise); document issues and consult with IPG Legal (as appropriate) to identify recommendations and avoid costly litigation.
  • Works to maintain and expand positive employee relations with employees.
  • Develop and implement retention/moralebuilding programs.

Diversity, equity, and inclusion


Human Resources Director must include a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion perspective in his/her management, in compliance with corporate policies, strategy and processes.

He/she must be able to develop the functions described above for a geographically and culturally diverse environment that make up the different companies of the group in Chile.


In consistency with our DEI policy and strategy, shall serve as the DEI champion, this position will work collaboratively with management and employees to create and implement diversity immersion, equity, and inclusion throughout the organization.


He/She will act as an advisor to management to help create a culture of belonging and support for diverse perspectives in achieving our corporate commitment to Conscious Inclusion.


Qualifications

  • Must have at least 5 years of work experience in Human Resources development, including diversity programs, labor relations, labor law compliance, employee training, coaching, employee engagement programs, recruiting and HR operational efficiency.
  • Minimum of a BS or related degree preferably in Organizational Development and Human Resources.
  • Training and experience in supervision, leadership development and organizational planning.
  • Sensitivity and competencies in diversity, equity and inclusion management will be evaluated.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
  • Strong problemsolving skills and detail oriented.
  • Selfmotivator takes initiative to resolve situations and improve departmental processes.
  • Welldeveloped interpersonal and negotiating skills, especially in dealing with sensitive and/or controversial issues.
