    We are searching for the best talent for SENIOR MANGER EXPERIENCE DESIGN MEDTECH to be in Sao Paulo, Brazil; Santiago, Chile; Mexico City, Mexico; or in Bogota, Colombia.

    Sr. Manager will play a pivotal design leadership role in the LATAM region supporting the end-to-end experiences for MedTech products and services.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Engage and collaborate with Business Product Managers, Business Product Owners, and Engineers to craft new and improve existing experiences for the J&J Medical Devices LATAM products/products groups
    • Support definition of overall user experience strategy and experience design for products/product groups
    • Promote user-centricity and design thinking within the team; coach and mentor team in experience design practices
    • Drive user research to inform, iterate, and validate the product design, applying field observations, interviews, contextual inquiries, surveys, remote usability testing, A/B testing, etc
    • Audit the landscape competitively and comparatively for inspiration as well as design ideas that can be used in the current design process
    • Consult on prototypes developed, ensuring they demonstrate the intended end-user experience and fundamental interactions
    • Integrate usability studies and research into product requirements
    • Contribute to crafting the design culture of the Experience Design organization, LATAM region, and our partners
    • Mentor and support multi-functional teams on how to demonstrating leverage Experience Design into their products and experiences skills.
    • Be one of the ambassadors for Experience design and evangelists for the region
    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in design or related field of study
    • 8+ overall years of experience with 5+ years of related work experience in User-Centered Design or similar
    • A portfolio of UX design work from pencil and whiteboard to wireframes and prototypes (blog, Dribble, GitHub, etc.)
    • Ability to digest and translate sophisticated technical requirements into intuitive experiences.
    • Ability to lead synthesis, design distinctive, intuitive creative artifacts (e.g., wireframes, task flows, screen mockups, prototypes)
    • Understanding of component-based design systems to be applied at scale
    • Experienced command of industry-standard design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.)
    • Experience conducting both qualitative user research and user testing and quantitative methods to inform design decisions
    • Demonstrated expertise in the design and evaluation of processes, products, and systems with respect to human factors/usability considerations.
    • Shown leadership experience advocating customer-centricity and ability to influence and shape experience strategies with business leadership.
    • A growth mindset and a passion for continuous learning
    • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multi-functional teams
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and successfully implement Experience Design strategies and methods
    • Fluent in English both spoken and written
    • Professional working proficiency in Spanish a plus
