Position Summary/Responsibilities:

Woodgrain is looking for a Warehouse Management Analyst to join our global team.

The primary responsibility of the IT WM Analyst is mastery of the relevant informations systems to maintain and advance those systems in accordance with the requirements of the business units and operations that utilize those systems.

The Analyst will work in the process of interpretation of system requirements, design specifications, configuration, testing, trouble shooting, and support of current & future information systems and solutions.


Other Duties include the following:

  • Organize, Facilitates, Lead and direct activities with business functional user groups to define the Enterprise Best Practice business processes and identify exceptions to be resolved. Be a desicion maker for final solutions
  • Analyzes and verifies Projects requirements from customers for completeness, consistency, feasibility to the business needs via Best Practices.
  • Analyze business processes and provide solutions to optimize productivity and ensure data accuracy.
  • Build process documentation, functional specifications, test scripts and help with training documentation
  • Monitor existing processes to ensure system accuracy and integrity
  • Provide day to day system/process support to users in coordination with corporate support team
  • Change management and train users on new systems and processes.
  • Manage and oversee the design and development of customized reports, utilizing ABAP technical resources and other tools (e.g., report writer) functionality within SAP
  • Design and development of interfaces and conversion programs to/from existing legacy systems
  • Work directly with project stakeholders throughout the entire lifecycle of multiple projects to define, design and implement robust technology solutions.
  • Collaborate outsourced resources to achieve project goals
  • System testing effort necessary as part of project deliverables
  • Partners with peers across the IT organization to solve complex business problems including taking a lead role on the highlevel solution options and design
  • Research and Learn relevant technologies, including their current updates, independently
  • Keeping informed of industry trends within the specific technology area of focus.

Technical Competencies:


  • Experience configuring in IMG HUM and SUM print controls, along with defining specs for any development regarding printing and label forms.
  • Experience configuring WM physical inventory and inventory adjustments with standard WM, SUM, and HUM.
  • Experience creating batch jobs for standard programs and customer developed programs.
  • Experience maintaining z tables for user exists and custom development.
  • Experience configuring RF menu's and transactions along with Queues.
  • Experience configuring and understanding PP and how it will integrate standard with WM, WM with HUM, and WM with SUM to streamline processes.
  • Experience writing Spec's for the development team to create custom transactions.
  • Experience configuring in IMG enterprise structure for plants and shipping points, storage types, bins etc.
  • Experience configuring and creating new MM (IM) Movements and how it will interact with all other modules it touches such as FI, SD, WM
  • Experience configuring MM purchasing from enterprise structure to the set up of Req's, PO's, printing, pricing conditions and EDI.
  • Experience and collaboration with TM to load and load end shipments.
  • Experience and maintaining BRF Plus
  • Experience and maintaining POWL's with NWBC
  • Experience with batch management.
  • Prefer experience/exposure with EWM, SAP Ariba, with S4/Hana on all warehouse items

Education/Experience:


  • College degree or equivalent, plus 5+ years in S/4HANA Materials Management & Procurement and Warehouse Management & Logistic Execution
  • Prior experience of relevant SAP ECC /SAP 4 HANA implementations
  • 5+ years in S/4HANA Materials Management & Procurement and Warehouse Management & Logistic Execution
  • Ability to quickly learn business processes with respect to SAP ECC, S/4 HANA, SAP industry specific Manufacturing and distribution Processes solutions, terms ,Methodologies,functions and technologies relevant to the role.
