Genie Retail Energy is a Growing Electricity and Natural Gas Supplier servicing its clients through multiple brands, with Commercial, Residential and industry-leading Green Energy offerings in PJM, ERCOT, Florida, and Georgia.


Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial conversations and onboard approved potential DoortoDoor teams that will sell Genie's
    energy and nonenergy products and services:
  • Motivate, Support, Analyze and Manage all aspects of selling Genie's products through approved direct sales channels including energy & non-energy products and services.
  • Establish, manage, and nurture business relationships.
  • Travel to sales teams required (approx. twice per month on average)
  • Be the primary point of contact for all direct sales campaigns
  • Work with the GRE Field sales manager, Training team, and all direct sales Channel Partners to ensure sales training is provided to ALL agents and managers in accordance with GRE training programs
  • Act as a liaison between direct sales channel partners and other GRE departments (regulatory, compliance, reporting, etc.;)
  • Report competitive market intelligence to internally develop, improve and/ or recommend a stronger company strategy
  • Implement channel marketing plans by the marketing team.
  • Achieving sales, profitability, and partner recruitment objectives may include:
  • Team motivation
  • The rollout of new products, services, programs, incentives, policies and procedures, and some training
  • Coordination of some partner recruitment activities
  • Spending time in the field with partner sales managers and other resources
  • Manage the tracking of proposals, contracts, and reports on a daily basis
  • Organize and prepare for weekly Sales Team meetings

Requirements:


  • College Graduate preferred but not required
  • High School graduate a must
  • Retail Energy Industry experience is a MUST
  • Some level of experience working with call centers, DoortoDoor, and other sales Channels
  • 24 years of experience in sales management or other sales leadership
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; Bilingual abilities are preferred, but not required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, primarily Excel. Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Preferred to have experience working for an energy supplier or homerelated services provider
  • Strong track record of meeting or exceeding individual sales goals
  • Must be able to work in a fastpaced environment
  • Must have the ability to multitask, manage multiple projects at once and meet deadlines
  • Must be organized and detailed oriented
  • Ability to adapt to constantly evolving industry demands
  • Ability to multitask in a highly competitive goaldriven environment
