Preferred Qualifications and Experiences
Teacher degree/certification preferred- Bachelor degree required

  • Legal documentation to work in Chile (required);
  • Experience supporting students with language acquisition or learning
  • High proficiency in English is required
  • High proficiency in Spanish preferred
  • Experience in a multicultural school environment
  • Experience with collaborative teamteaching models
  • Experience with coteaching and differentiation

Skills
Ability to connect with students- Excellent human relations skills to communicate effectively with parents and colleagues

  • Collaboration skills for coteaching and classroom support

Main Duties and Responsibilities
Assist with instruction of individuals, small groups, or in-class support- Assume the role of the lead teacher when the teacher is absent

  • Maintain an orderly, clean, and safe classroom/school environment
  • Collaborate with teachers and provide appropriate classroom support for language learners
  • Participate in coplanning with the support team and classroom teachers
  • Perform other related duties as requested by the School, if temporary and/or extraordinary
circumstances require them or the needs of the School require them
