Job Description:


  • PURPOSE


Provide IM Services to warranty operational needs as well as manage the delivery of the OT Network Infrastructure services including Autonomous systems for the Mine and any other relevant operational system.


KEY TASKS

  • Lead, develop, design, control the work and overall performance of Chile OT network and voice technology systems for all mining operations.
  • Evaluate and ensure processing performance relating to system and machine utilisation, reliability and capacity
  • Forecast financial, physical, and human resource needs to meet established objectives
  • Manage all licensing exposure within the OT networking, voice and perimeter security
  • Provide specialist support for OT service specialist concerning LAN/WLAN (Mesh) and Layer 3 networking for all mining operations.
  • Manage all risks relating to OT voice and data networks
  • Ensure Network and infrastructure compliance according to global policies
  • Manage costs associated to the VDN transparently and effectively, including investment choices and budgeting to ensure equipment is "healthy."
  • Own a monthly, global, service delivery review with the OT network vendors, with input from the regions
  • Manage the performance of the vendors, ensure they are meeting or exceeding their contractual commitments for services and project including those delivered directly to the BU's
  • Understand technological trends and use this knowledge to bring solutions to business units supported to enhance the enterprise's competitive edge
  • Oversee and coordinate frameworks, designs, blueprints and restoration plans that isolate problems and implement preplanned alternative routes or systems to restore service in OT networks and communication environment.
  • Develop business and technology standards and best practices for OT Networking, Voice and Data communication mediums in Underground environments.
  • Lead and ensure operational continuity for incidents and requirement, developing continous improvement

Qualifications:


  • An undergraduate qualification (bachelor's degree or equivalent) in the relevant IM Discipline and Technical
  • Postgraduate Degree in relevant discipline (preferred)
  • CompTIA Security+, Cisco Certified (CCENT, CCNA, CCNA-Security, CCNP). (desirable)
Experience

  • 10 years of total experience.
  • 5 years Experience in efficient management of information and network infrastructure in operational environments, specifically within the mining industry.
  • IT and OT discipline and governance
  • Change management and stakeholder engagement.
  • Proficiency in required languages. LATAM roles will require proficiency in Spanish and English.

Ability to:

  • Deliver a portfolio of OT services to a defined client base.
  • Support Network in OT enviroment from holistisc point of view.
  • Hold vendors to account on SLA indicators.

Other requirements

  • Legal and Safety requirements to work on site.
  • Regional and Global travel and collaboration across time zones required
  • Availability to work on a 7x7 shift
  • Having the ability to move between the different operations of Anglo American, including Santiago, Chagres, El Soldado, Las Tórtolas, and Los Bronces.
