    Job Summary The SeniorStaff Controls Engineer performs advanced system maintenance andsupport. Leads complex projects using internal and external resources.
    Assists with development and implementation of policies andprocedures.

    Effectively interacts with other internal and externalteams, including the design engineering, site engineering, regionaloperations teams, onsite support vendors and consultants on projects,policies and procedures to resolve complex matters.


    Whatyou'll be doing? System Operation and Work Practices

    • Expert operating knowledge of control systems to include advanceddiagnostics and repairs
    • Evaluates and assures the safe workingpractices of others
    • Interacts with other engineeringdisciplines Problem Solving
    • Consistently solves complex,crossfunctional issues requiring independent action and a high degreeof initiative to resolve
    • Implements and makes recommendations forcomplex system level enhancements to eliminate potential problems
    • Tests suitability of components for deployments on complexassignments Internal/External Contact
    • Contributes tomentoring junior team members
    • Directs internal and externalproject team members
    • Directs teams per project or initiative suchas General Contractors, design teams, commissioning agents, equipmentsuppliers, etc.
    • Expert level communication to include crossfunctional SOP development and relevant technical writing
    • Interactions are primarily to exchange information between departmentswithin the organization
    • Includes executive level communicationsin standardized templates Technical Expertise
    • Has thoroughunderstanding of advanced electrical, fire protection, and HVACsystems operation including advanced optimization strategies anddeficiencies
    • Has expert controls system knowledge sufficient torapidly comprehend new systems
    • Extensive knowledge of multiplefacets of controls engineering
    • Develops and executesprojects
    • Reviews budget and scope, calculates savings pertainingto control system replacement projects
    • Tests suitability ofcomponents or action plans for deployments
    • Understands of serveroperating systems, networks, and cyber security bestpractices. Training
    • Acquires knowledge by expandingexperience with systems, vendor training, participation in industrygroups or meetings and shadowing others
    • Is SME with many systemsand trains others inside and outside of the group DevelopPolicy/Methods
    • Participates in review of and contributes todevelopment of policy and procedure documents Assess Adherenceto Policy
    • Assures adherence to developed standards and policythrough review of documentation, participation in commissioningactivities and data center physicals
      What do you need?
    -7+ years in control system design, operations, maintenance, andproject planning with a emphasis and special focus on controlspreferred

    • Bachelors degree preferred
    • Knowledge of HMI andPLC Configuration
    • Knowledge of Aveva/Rockwell software
    • Experience with SCADA System
