About the Role:

As a member of the Technology Minerals America Team, the Regional Program Manager must:
Ensure an overriding commitment to health, safety, environmental and community responsibility
Ensure compliance with the BHP Charter, the BHP Requirements, Code of Conduct, and relevant statutory obligations
Ensure an inclusive culture with a team that is engaged, enabled, and high performing
As the Regional Program Manager, you will:

Ensure organizational sustainability

implementing foundational leadership routines (role, talent, and succession management) and actively developing the Delivery team
Lead the Operations engineering team and in preparation to receive projects, or components of major projects.
Management of TTO and PMO functions within Operations team
Works closely with other technology functions and finance to ensure Project OPEX is estimated and forecasted for the Operations team.
Utilizes best practices and market knowledge to deliver innovative solutions
Deliver portfolio to Safety, to budget, to schedule, scope, and to agreed customer expectations
Manage contractor companies, looking for a longterm relationship, controlling their performance and deliverables.
Ensure programs / projects are compliant with BHP investment, project, and Technology standards and controls
Ensure programs / projects are successfully commissioned and transitioned to Technology operations

About You:

Qualifications
Required
University Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related STEM disciplines.

Experience

Required

- years in engineering design or project management roles.

Desired years of mining, oil & gas, utilities or manufacturing industry experience.
Desired years in people leadership

Languages

Required

- Spanish (spoken, written).

Desired
English (spoken, written).
