Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines and architectures.
Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements.
Implement ETL processes for data ingestion, transformation, and loading.
Ensure the quality, reliability, and integrity of the data infrastructure.
Optimize database performance and troubleshoot issues.
Design and implement data models, schema, and structures.
Stay updated on emerging data technologies, tools, and best practices.
Provide technical support and troubleshoot datarelated issues.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
Strong programming and scripting skills (e.g., Python, SQL).
Experience with data warehousing concepts and technologies.
Proficiency in database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
Knowledge of ETL tools and processes.
Understanding of big data technologies and distributed systems.
Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with cloudbased data solutions (e.g., AWS Redshift, Azure Synapse Analytics).
Knowledge of data governance and compliance.
Familiarity with data lakes and NoSQL databases.
Understanding of data security and encryption.
Previous experience with realtime data processing.
