About the Role:

We are seeking for an Executive Assistant, for the Vice President Asset Expansions and Permitting (Minerals Americas). This is a permanent opportunity based in our Santiago Corporate office.


The position aims to provide safe, effective, efficient and confidential administrative support services to ensure the smooth running of their office, and the Asset Expansions and Permitting Team by also acting as a Team Assistant providing support to the leadership team of the group.


Key accountabilities include:

  • Providing high level diary management, ensuring optimal time utilization
  • Coordination of travel itineraries including accommodation and transport bookings Coordination of meetings, including presentations, agendas & minutes
  • Managing confidential and sensitive matters with diplomacy
  • Establish and maintain confidential records, correspondence, contact lists, and related material
  • Creates and edits presentations/correspondence for review with mínimal instructions; consolidates reports as required.
  • Arrange functions, events, meetings, workshops, town halls and training; room bookings, catering, translators and logistics and liaise with local IT members for technical support
  • Manage supply and procurement process for the leadership team, including raising PO's, contract and vendor management
  • Draft and prepare internal announcements, leadership meetings, and other events/activities where the executives are involved with
  • Build collaborative relationships within the team, with peers and other internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support with budget management & cost reporting
  • Liaising with external stakeholders when required

About You:


  • Previous experience in an Executive Assistant position, ideally with prior experience in supporting senior level (ie VP and above) stakeholders.
  • Desirable previous experience in multinational Company
  • Executive assistant or administrator diploma


  • Microsoft Office 36

  • SAP Experience desirable
  • Fluent in Spanish and English
  • Strong technical proficiency, with the ability to efficiently manage multiple work processes in a busy and complex environment
  • Strong planning and organizational skills with high attention to detail
  • Welldeveloped communication and relationship management skills
  • Strong orientation to teamwork.
  • Strong followthrough skills and sound judgment.
