Position Name:
School Community Life Assistant (Coordinador Convivencia
Escolar)

Reports to:
Assistant Head for National Affairs

Time commitment:
Full-time

Purpose of the position:

The SCL Assistant will work closely with the SCL chairperson to promote a caring
school climate and Child Safeguarding., while meeting the Ministry of Education
regulations.

Preferred Qualifications and Experiences
Teacher or Psychologist certification.- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with teachers, leaders, parents, and
- other school community members

Excellent organizational and communication skills
Willingness to grow professionally
Strong proficiency in written and spoken English and Spanish.
Proficiency in the use of technology for multiple purposes

Main Duties and Responsibilities
Collaborate with the SCL Chairperson in all initiatives related to School

Climate and Social interactions
Support administrative team and counseling team with SCL cases
Manage documentation related to SCL and safeguarding.
Help elaborate SCL management plan (Plan de convivencia escolar)
Trainings to diverse groups in the school community
Maintain database
Provide translation in meetings when needed.
Develop reports for internal and external needs.
Other duties as assigned
