Role and Responsibilities

  • Assure Dockers brand expression and unification across all LATAM distribution channels, through adequate and consistent store design linked to brand environment and marketing global/local strategies.
  • Create, understand and develop designs that magnify brand values by adapting global guidelines to local needs of every client or key account.
  • Achieve maximum performance, understand and improve ways of working of Brand Environment & Store Design team, and Com-Ops.
  • Excel communication with Manager and team members, also with other crossfunctional partners like: Brand Environment, Merchandising, Brand Marketing, Sales: Sell in, Sell out, Demand and Supply Planning, Licenses and other subsidiaries.
  • Work together with cross functional partners: Retail/Wholesale operations, Brand Environment, Store Planning & Construction leaders, IT for project plan definition and control, qualifying and guiding the projects according with the company's goals, within the schedule established and timing.
  • Responsible of quality standards and vendor consistency across LATAM projects and stores. Must maintain a deep portfolio of suppliers to assign the best.
  • Build and control annual project roll out and budget forecast planification by identifying Dockers opportunities across all channels: openings, remodelings, refits, facelifts, concept upgrade.
  • Control assigned projects and detect opportunities to improve performance on floor. Understand other markets and tropicalize global guidelines according to business needs.
  • Responsible for visiting store site construction, site surveys planning and the main contact for turnovers for BE team, Operations, IT and other functions requiring on floor support from a store development perspective.
  • Deliver and finish projects on time with consistency across all brands and channels through great designs, consumer understanding, provide best furniture selection, fixture quality and teamwork with BE team.
  • Develop and research new suppliers of furniture, lighting, engineering, fixtures as well as keeping a constant focus on improving best costs and ensure quality on architectural implementation.
  • Excel as a "Project Manager" for all Dockers expansion plans across all channels; obtain internal approvals and provide guidance, planning an timing per project and necessary information to internal/external clients.
  • Responsible for running RFP's and budget control, PO and all process involved.
  • Coordinate and complete project approvals on time, internal and external in order to start a construction.
  • Responsible to present, track and follow up with Commercial Partners, Franchisees and other partners involved previously, currently and afterly.
  • Assure and optimize assigned annual budget for all SD projects, programs and tools to be implemented per channel.
  • Control assigned budget and identify in advance opportunities to improve performance on floor. Understand other markets and tropicalize global guidelines according to business needs.
  • Understand new fixture bible updates, prototype them and suggest/adapt local solution.
  • Responsible for all on going activities related to store construction or furniture production, store opening or remodeling, including client's briefing, surveys, layout analysis, category management, lay out proposals, accessory quantification, capacities, floor set, façade analysis.
  • Responsible to maximize timing in every execution and achieve critical or challenging timings provided sometimes by Com-Ops due extraordinary business deadlines or strategies.
  • Provide service to Operations partners for maintenance against any issue or mal function with best pricing and timing.
  • Analyse all our POS by channel and sales area to propose renovations and budget allocation.
  • Provide weekly Project Roll out update to Global team.
  • Evaluate and control space locations, detect which ones are appropriate for our brands, if not, provide suggestions and persuade external partners to get best location.
  • Analyse of Sell out ranking' results every time a remodelling, facelift or refresh is requested.
  • Coordinate execution in all matters across channels, in time and form with quality standards, supporting brands needs, client and consumer and expectations.
Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Architecture, Industrial Design with commercial space design or retail design expertise.
  • Construction supervision and project management expertise needed.
  • Cost to build experience, onsite vendor management.
  • Languages: Spanish and fluent English.
Preferred Skills

  • 35 years of experience in similar role.
  • Wide Knowledge in Retail design (proffered: commercial space design).
  • Knowledge in interior design, fixtures and furniture design, retail design, pop display, finishes, construction.
  • Understand Visual Merchandising criteria's, displays and industrial design.
  • Ability to work and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
