About the job:
The Red Hat Sales team is looking for an Account Solutions Architect to join us in Santiago, Chile.

In this role, you will architect solutions and coordinate technical associates, e.g., product specialists, engineers, etc., as necessary to support the Red Hat Sales team and customers in a broad range of engagements.

You'll need to have knowledge across major Red Hat's solutions categories, initially at the foundational level.

Over time, you'll be expected to expand your knowledge across multiple categories of offerings as required for the role, the customer, the domain (e.g., financial services, telecommunications, public sector, healthcare, etc.), or the territory that you'll be assigned.

As an Account Solutions Architect, you will also need to be skilled in sales motions and have the ability to persuade executives, grow your network of contacts, and maintain critical customer relationships.


What you will do:

  • Support the aligned sales team as per your role, specialty, or technical focus area
  • Continuously grow and expand your knowledge of Red Hat's offerings and solutions across the entire portfolio
  • Guide customer interaction and critical business relationships, grow your network, and work on your ability to persuade executives
  • Facilitate the technical relationship between Red Hat and our customers
  • Discover opportunities and present technical solutions to customers in order to facilitate new business growth
  • Provide technical presales support and architect solutions that include Red Hat's offerings, consulting services, and training
  • Build trusted relationships with customers and partners to gain deep understanding of their business and IT environments, allowing the sales team to best match Red Hat's offerings and solutions to address customer needs and requirements
  • Support customer meetings through presentations (e.g., whiteboarding or formal presentations), demonstrations, and explanations of the value of Red Hat's technologies and architected solutions
  • Guide engaging conversations, customer relationships, and architecture solutions that result in sales growth
  • Communicate progress, status, and lessons learned from sales pursuits to all internal stakeholders and customers as applicable

What you will bring:

  • 10+ years of experience in complex sales processes
  • Excellent presentation skills; ability to present to small and large groups of mixed business, technical, management, and leadership audiences
  • Knowledge across Red Hat's solutions categories in order to appropriately support aligned customers or domains
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret technology and market trends as a foundation for the roadmaps for our offerings and technologies
  • Presales and sales experience in consultative selling
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to deliver on customer expectations
  • Knowledge of sophisticated sales motions
  • Bachelor's or master's degree is a plus
