What do we do?** MainstreamRenewable Power is a leading developer of renewable energy projectsworldwide focusing on onshore and offshore wind projects as well asemerging renewable technologies. Mainstream will construct and operaterenewable energy assets globally and is committed to delivering itsprojects to the highest safety standards.
What are we lookingfor? Planning and reporting across the Latin Americanoperations by aligning detailed financial analysis with strategicobjectives. This role encompasses managing the latam budgeting processand ensuring its strategic coherence, as well as producing accuratefinancial forecasts and reports for informed decisionmaking. The aimis to create a streamlined and efficient financial planning systemthat supports the company's growth and compliance, fosters operationalefficiency, and mitigates financial risks. Ultimately, this role isfocused on adding value to every financial process, thereby drivingsustainable growth and solidifying the company's market leadership inthe renewable energy sector in Latin America.
What Challengeswill you face? - Coordinate the continuous improvement in Financeanalysis, consistency of data across the business and planning thestrategies for Latam accordingly.
- Coordinate the corporate budgetprocess for latam and drive discussions with latam staff and partnersregarding budget revenues and spend and challenge as appropriate.
- Preparation of the weekly and monthly cash forecast template andweekly cash summary report for the Group Finance team and theCFO.
- Review and consolidation of calculations of projected plushistoric costs of projects cash flow forecasting purposes.
- Preparation and review of latam Platform management accounts, analysisand commentary; Coordination, preparation and review of the monthlyPerformance review section for latam
- Coordination, preparation,and review of the Monthly Performance Review LATAM for the MLT.
- Providing relevant and timely reports (including costs to completeeach phase of each project) and supporting information to the Assetmanager, cost control team and project managers for the financialmanagement of the development, construction, and operations processesas requested.
- Lead the digital transformation processes asrequired by the Corporate team.
- Lead cost control initiatives asrequested by the Corporate team.
- Implementation of new apps orsystems of financial planning or analysis for Latam, as requested bythe Corporate team, as well as actively proposing and implementingimprovements.
- Assisting in the preparation of Risk and InvestmentCommittee papers to document and obtain approval for material projectspends or risks assumed.
- Supporting the external audit for theLatam region as may be required.
- Taking an active role inreviewing and improving controls for the Latam Business, as well as incost analysis.
- Taking a lead role in ad hoc projects asrequired.
What knowledge do yourequire? Educational, knowledge and experiencebackground - Commercial/Industrial Engineer or a Finance degree,with at least 8 years of experience in FP&A orrelated. Experience
- Experience in the energy industrydesired.
- Experience in a multinational company, working withCorporate teams desired.
- Experience in accounting analysis, IFRSknowledge preferred.
- Experience in presentations of financialinformation, identifying KPIs and business drivers.
- Confidentselfstarter with the ability to act on own initiative, multitask andmeet challenging deadlines. Language skills
