    Regional Director of Operations, LATAM The
    RegionalDirector of Operations, LATAM will maintain, control, and manageoperations within their region. This position reports to Director ofOperations, US East and LATAM.
    PrimaryResponsibilities

    • Executing scheduled preventive maintenanceactivities, performing unscheduled maintenance, and supporting anycustomer requests
    • Manage facility expansions and improvement; toinclude new crossconnect or other fiber installations, new MEPcapacity expansions and new customer installations
    • Achieving ahigh level of customer service by successfully maintaining andexpanding existing data centers
    • Support the planning, design,implementation, and operation of new data centers in the region
    • Plan and implement any customer installations and change requests
    • Maintain and manage capacity information (infrastructure andtechnology)
    • Actively partner with internal business functions todeliver new capabilities and services
    • Document and implement bestpractices for DCM
    • Ensure all policies, procedures and systematiccontrols are adhered to that are required for our Data CenterCertifications and Compliances such as SOC 2, HIPPA, PCI DSS,Information Security Management System (ISMS) for the InternationalOrganization for Standardization (ISO 21007)
      Knowledge,Skills & Abilities
    • Understanding of data center infrastructure,UPS, Generators, Batteries, and HVAC is a must
    • Strong businessanalysis and design skills
    • Strong written and verbalcommunication
    • Commitment to organizational excellence andconstant awareness to seek opportunities to improve processes/qualityof deliverables.
    • Superb ability to prioritize and manage multipleprojects/responsibilities.
    • Superb ability to meet committedtimelines, leveraging assistance/input from peers.
    • Strong andeffective team player in working with various disciplines and peergroups; can cover all gamut of tasks required to 'getting a jobdone.'
    • Strong attention todetail.
      Experience/Education
    • 10+ years of experiencein Facility operations or engineering functions
    • Significant DataCenter operating experience, to include detailed knowledge ofUPS/PDU/CRAC/Generator and Security systems
    • Experience withmultiple PM cycles for Data Center equipment
    • Experience withtrouble ticketing systems and troubleshooting of computerequipment
    • Able to effectively manage, supervise, and evaluatecontract technical labor
    • Able to recommend improvements todispatch and reporting processes and systems used for contracttechnical labor
    • Experience implementing and monitoring requiredData Center Security Certifications
      Travel Since thefacilities are regionally distributed, the Director will be requiredto travel to current and other facilities that we build in the future.
    We expect up to 50% travel for this role.
